Lisa Minahan is a 1994 graduate of Springfield College where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Rehabilitation Services and received a Master of Science degree in Speech - Language Pathology from Nova Southeastern University in 2000. Since receiving certification from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA), she has been practicing in various long-term care facilities, school systems, and outpatient clinics servicing both pediatrics and adults, served as a CFY supervisor, and holds licenses in both NH and MA. References available upon request. Speech and Language services provided in my office located at 125 Londonderry Turnpike, Hooksett, NH.  Serving the greater Manchester, NH region. School and SNF contracts may also be available.

We provide early intervention speech, language and swallowing evaluation and therapy services for children's early years. For children who are not developing speech and language skills, we can provide a speech therapist that can help be a bridge to better communication skills, reduced frustration, and greater success in school readiness skills. At Premier Speech Therapy, we believe it is important for parents to understand normal speech and language development and how to work with their children to encourage communication. Parent education is an important part of what we do.

Preschool - Preschool is an important time in a child's life as the child matures and prepares for the structured learning time in school. We work with each family individually to determine a child's needs.

School-Aged Children - At Premier Speech Therapy, we understand that children need individual attention. That's why we typically work one to one. Convenient schedules are available for before and after school in order to ensure that your child does not have to miss academic time in order to participate in speech therapy. We also provide on-site therapy to work seamlessly with their busy schedules.

Adults - Our team of professionals provides speech, language, voice and swallowing therapy to adults of all ages. Our office is authorized to bill Medicaid and most insurances for evaluation and treatment. An experienced speech pathologist can help you with the following: Communication disorders resultant from stroke or head injury (aphasia, Apraxia, Dysarthia) - Voice disorders (dysphonia) - Laryngectomy rehabilitation, including training with electrolarynx and use of tracheoesophageal speaking valves - accent reduction - swallowing disorders (dysphagia) - articulation difficulties.
